[MAKE NO MISTAKE, tetsutetsu can feel the burn. in fact he lets out a rambunctious "AHGRHHH" into bakugou's ear, and twists his arm harder. it only fuels his fighting ego.

the heat is bearable at first, until it becomes searing agony from the prolonged-ness of the impact. it's sort of like walking bear-foot on black asphalt on a hot summer day. at first you can stand the first couple of steps until you're finally running to the safety of a pool or the comfort of soft grass. except, tetsutetsu has no way to escape the heat except to toughen it out.]

You're going to pay for that!!

[with tears in his eyes, he attempts to throw bakugou, by his arm, to the ground with all his might.]

[ if he were a real twisted fucker, he might even look into what the melting point of steel might be. and then test his own power to see if he could come remotely close to it, because he's almost exactly that kind of fucked up to reason that it'd be a good fact to know, facing up against a metal enemy--

he's thrown, and it hurts, but he's a tough kid and through bruises and the rough-up he just laughs almost like a maniac. or maybe he just absolutely is one. maybe there's no maybe about it. maybe he'll just grab tetsutetsu's arm again with a glowing red hand and just apply even more explosive heat, less power, less intensity, just channeling it all into firey heat. ]

[curse his metal weakness!!! tetsutetsu's body tenses, steeling himself from the pain of the heat. in the heat of the moment he yanks his arm away from bakugou, pulling him closer. at the same time, his other hand (balled into a fist at that point) takes a swing directly at bakugou's face. with the the two colliding forces, it'd be a wonder if bakugou also didn't come out of this school yard fight with more than some minor bruises and scrapes.

like a concussion? or a broken nose.

in the heat of the moment, tetsutetsu doesn't particularly care what happens to bakugou. he just cares to cause enough damage to get the heated quirk user off of him to avoid a third degree burn to his fleshy-skin.]
